During cataract surgery, your cloudy natural lens will be removed and replaced with a synthetic clear lens, known as an intraocular lens (IOL).
One of the lenses approved by the FDA in February are Johnson & Johnson’s Eyhance IOL. Its new refractive surface design slightly improves the focus depth when compared to standard monofocal lenses.
