Participation in the Premium IOL PROM Project: A Milestone for Precision Eye Care and Innovation in Eye Health.
At Precision Eye Care, we are thrilled to share a remarkable milestone in our journey towards enhancing eye health and patient satisfaction. It is with great pride that we announce our participation in the Premium Intraocular Lens (IOL) Patient-Reported Outcome Measure (PROM) project, spearheaded by the esteemed American Academy of Ophthalmology.
A Leading Role in Innovation
Precision Eye Care is honored to be among the select centers chosen for this groundbreaking initiative. Led by Dr. Romero, our renowned surgeon, we are one of the few practices entrusted with the task of advancing the assessment of visual outcomes and patient satisfaction following cataract surgery with premium IOLs.
Gratitude to Our Patients
To our valued patients, we extend our heartfelt gratitude. Your unwavering support and participation have been instrumental in our journey. Your trust in our practice and willingness to contribute to this vital project have not gone unnoticed. It is your commitment that drives us to push the boundaries of excellence in eye care.
A Collaborative Effort
The Premium IOL PROM project is not just a testament to our dedication but also a testament to collaboration. Together with leading experts, including Dr. Samuel Masket and the American Academy of Ophthalmology, we have embarked on a journey to redefine patient care in ophthalmology.
AIOLIS: Accepted by the FDA
We are excited to share that our collaborative efforts have been recognized by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The Assessment of IntraOcular Lens Implant Symptoms (AIOLIS), developed as part of this project, has been officially accepted by the FDA as a Medical Device Development Tool (MDDT). This designation underscores the significance of AIOLIS in clinical evaluation and regulatory decision-making, further validating its role in enhancing patient care.
A Bright Future Ahead
As we celebrate this milestone, we look forward to the positive impact that this project will have on our patients’ lives. Through the development of innovative tools such as AIOLIS, we aim to elevate the standards of care and ensure that your visual needs are met with precision and compassion.
