Meet Dr. Maria S. Romero
Dr. Maria Romero: Experienced Ophthalmologist
Dr. Maria Romero is a highly accomplished ophthalmologist with 20 years of experience. She currently practices at Precision Eye Care and, before that, served as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
Extensive Training and Specializations
Dr. Romero completed her ophthalmology residency at LSU New Orleans. Later, she pursued a prestigious fellowship at the Wilmer Eye Institute. Throughout her career, she has gained expertise in various advanced procedures, including advanced lens laser cataract surgery and EVO Vision ICL. Additionally, she specializes in minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, blepharoplasty, and pterygium excision.
Comprehensive Patient Care
Beyond surgery, Dr. Romero also treats various medical conditions, such as dry eye. Furthermore, she provides comprehensive eye exams to ensure early detection and prevention of vision problems. Thanks to her holistic approach, patients receive well-rounded and high-quality care.
